Harrison is such a blankie baby. He has to have it to go to sleep at night, and it's the first thing he hands you when you go to pick him up in the morning. He hugs it, and cuddles it, and loves it, and now apparently wears it as a hat.
Peter put it on his head and Harrison walked around with it ALL night long. When it fell off, he brought it back to one of us to replace. It was so funny. He just walked around like it wasn't even there, but you could tell he was just loving it.
And just for fun, here's a clip of our little walker. Still not walking 100% of the time, but getting pretty close!

We have internet again!! I feel so connected to the world again. I can check my email when I want to, blog hop during Harrison's nap time, Skype with family, chat with friends, look up directions... I love the internet. How do people live without it? I am SO glad to have it back.
Harrison and I have been welcoming in summer. We play outside, go on walks, and we even went to a friends house to swim! My good friend Jenny set up a baby pool in her backyard - Harrison thought it was AWESOME! The other boys liked the sandbox better than the pool, but Harrison was all about swimming. We can't wait to go to Arizona and swim in Papa's big pool!
Here's our cute little swimmer:
Now that we're back online our blog is back in busines! Come back soon for more updates!

Internetless
Is that a word? We have been living in a world without internet, and I now officially realize how addicted I am. I love the internet. It's so sad to live without it.
This weekend we are visiting Grandma Wride and we were able to hook up to her wireless, which means blog update - finally! But, since we only brought the laptop I don't have all of our pictures. So... here are a few updates, and someday soon when we have internet again and I can access all of our pictures I will update my updates... Thanks for visiting! Leave us a comment so we know you were here!

Ouchie
Harrison got in his first fight.
With a chair.
Doh. Poor baby tried to climb a chair and bonked his eye. It was so sad... Within seconds of hitting his eye it was all swollen and huge, like a blood blister. Talk about breaking a mother's heart... Turns out he burst some of the veins in this eyelid, so now he's sporting a black eye. We were scheduled to take one-year photos, but now I guess we'll wait.

Happy Birthday Harrison!
Harrison is one year old! Happy Birthday baby boy!
He is such a cutie. We took him to the zoo for his birthday and he just loved it. Every time he saw an animal he made a big O-shape with his mouth and turned to look at everyone as if to say, "Are you seeing this?! Did you see that?!" And if the animals were moving around he just laughed at them, like it was the greatest thing he had ever seen. He LOVED it. It was so sweet.
Check back later for cute zoo pics. I only have just a few on this computer, and there are some darling "must sees."
Here is Harrison in his sweet new ride he got for his birthday. He LOVES cars. A true boy.
We were glad to have Rachel and Eric join us for birthday cake all the way up in Park City (thanks again for making the drive guys!). We went for the dinosaur cake (Marie, you know I can't resist them) - one for the big kids, and one for Harrison to smash into all by himself. There wasn't as much smashing as I expected... He wasn't so sure about the feel of frosting on his hands, and seemed more concerned about getting it off of him then smashing it in his face. Mommy had to give him a sample of the actual cake before he realized it would be good to eat. The best part of the whole thing was when daddy asked him if he needed a bath and Harrison signed bath, which involved frosting hands being rubbed and patted all over his chest. Safe to say he really did need a bath after that. Check back later for cute smash cake pictures too! (someday we'll have internet again and I'll be able to post all the good pictures... For now you just get the cake.)
Happy Birthday Harrison! I can't believe my little boy is already one. He is learning so many new things each day. He is starting to walk all over the place, he is becoming an excellent signer, he can climb stairs (who knew??), he gives hugs to EVERYTHING he picks up.... He is such a sweetheart. I love his big sloppy kisses and armless hugs (he tucks his arms in tight between you instead of around you), I love the way he says "daddy" instead of "dada," I love the way he jibber-jabbers all day long, I love his big cheesy smile when I pull out the camera and say "cheeeeeeeeeese," I love when he says "mmm" after every bite he takes - and if it's especially tasty I get an "mmmmmmmmmmm" with big eyes and raised eyebrows, and I especially love how good his nap is and how well he sleeps at night! :) I can't remember not having Harrison as a part of our family. We love you babykins! Happy Birthday!

Moving Day
We said goodbye to our condo in Pleasant Grove a few weeks ago. We will miss it! We loved our condo, but three flights of stairs, a 23 pound baby, and groceries (or anything for that matter) are not a good combo. We're ready to move into a single family home, where I can pull into the garage and carry my groceries right into the kitchen. We are ready for a yard so that Harrison can go run around, and so that Peter can get the dog of his dreams that I wouldn't allow in a condo. :) We are ready for a change, so here we go!
Here are Peter and Harrison helping with the packing the morning of the move...
And truck driver Peter:
We will be moving to Spanish Fork! Spanish Fork you say? You may be thinking that only cows and farms exist in the far off land of Spanish Fork (confession: that was my original thought on the city), but it's not true! It's a great little city! We'll be moving into a little house in a new community that is being built, and just around the corner is a new elementary school, there's a Wal-mart down the street, there's a Bajio's extremely close (yes, we love Bajio's WAY more than Cafe Rio), and rumor has it there's a Costco opening next year. What else could you possibly need?! A good commute to work? You got it - Peter works in Springville and will only have about a 5 minute drive each day to work. Nice.
Our home won't be ready for us until the beginning of July, so you'll just have to wait to see pictures but we'll keep you updated. We are very excited!

11 months
Our little boy is 11 months old!
Taking his picture is getting harder and harder. He doesn't sit still like he use to... In the first two pictures he is attacking the camera and I'm trying to push him back -turns out you can see his cute little teeth, which I happen to think are darling, so I like these ones. (I'm so obviously a first time mom, even my baby's teeth are cute...) I wanted one cute picture of him not rushing the camera so I finally put him against the wall and told him to stay there so I could take his picture, and he put his arms out and held onto the wall as if he were a prisoner. Sigh... His ball was our last hope. Not quite the shots I was going for, but at least he's smiling in all of them.
