8 months old

Harrison is 8 months old!

I guess this is how he really feels about being 8 months old. Am I a mean mom if I find that sad face absolutely adorable? What a pout that little boy has!

Santa Babies

Last Christmas Ryan and Daniel wore these Santa outfits, and they were so cute that we couldn't help but put Harrison and Emma through the same torture. Aren't they CUTE???

Harrison apparently couldn't get enough of Emma. Sheesh, can't a guy hold a girls hand without her putting up a fight? He tried and tried, but Emma's daddy must have talked with her about boys like Harrison... :)

Finally, after one too many photos and the sudden thought of embarrassment in the years to come, Harrison had had enough! (and from the looks of it, Emma had too!)

Virginia Fun

A few more Christmas activities...

We took a drive down to D.C. to see the lights on the temple. These pictures are kind of blurry, but they're all we have. It was very cold, but it was very beautiful. We missed the lights in Salt Lake at Temple Square this year, so we loved getting the change to see them in D.C.

Of course we made a gingerbread house, and, if I do say so myself, it turned out pretty amazing. Everyone helped add a little something. My favorites have to be Marie's marshmallow snowman family, and Peter's duck in the pond.

We have to go way back to get updated here. Since we've been out of town since mid-December, we haven't even shared Christmas pictures yet!

We spent our Christmas in Virginia with the Wrides and it was wonderful. The house was crazy full, which made it all the more fun. It was Harrison's first Christmas! Okay, I'm not really sure that he knew the difference between Christmas Day and any other day of the week, but I know he had to be thrilled on Christmas Eve to get pajamas that finally fit him!
