Okay, some are pretty cute, some are kinda blurry, some are just bloopers for fun, and a couple are awesome. I hope you can find at least one or two worth printing...

Hannah and Alex

Okay girls, sorry for the delay... Here are your lovely pictures!! Before you do anything crazy like post these to facebook or something like that, choose your favorites so I can edit them! These haven't been cropped or edited or anything. They will be much, much, much cooler once I edit them. (and now that I'm done with Hannah's other pics it really won't take me very long)

So choose your favs, but remember that they will be cooler. I will even edit the goofy ones if you want. :)

Happy Valentine's Day

Here's Harrison sporting his Valentine's Day outfit from Grandma. (thanks Grandma!) He really is quite the stud muffin.

Harrison wanted to wish his daddy a very happy Valentine's Day today, so I helped him make an extra special valentine just for Daddy.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Bye-bye Nap Time

Last week Harrison learned how to get from his tummy to sitting position. Yay!! I was so proud - what a big boy! It's been so fun to see him roll and "crawl" (see previous post) around to the toys he wants, and then watch him sit up and play with them.

Until today....

Today Harrison figured out that he cannot only sit up in the family room where all of his toys are, but also in his crib! Usually I put him down for a nap and I can hear him talk to himself for just a few minutes and then he passes out and sleeps like a champ. Today I heard him talking like usual, then it was quiet and I figured he fell asleep. About 10 minutes later I heard talking again. Then quiet. I thought, "Oh, he wasn't quite asleep, now he must be." No such luck. There was talking, then quiet, talking then quiet... I went to peek at him and he was sitting up in the middle of his crib, happy as could be playing with his blankie. Hmmm... maybe he'd get tired of playing and then fall asleep?

No. This went on for ONE HOUR while he was suppose to be taking a nap. He wasn't upset or sad about being in his crib, so I just let him play thinking that eventually he would get tired and lay down. Playing was much more important than sleeping I guess because sleep never came. He was finally rescued and saved from taking a nap when I peeked in and found him like this:

Here's how happy he was to see I was coming to set him free:

Look at his little feet just poking out. Silly boy... It's hard to take a nap if you don't lay down!

Crawling is something to yell about

Harrison has been trying for weeks and weeks to crawl. He's been crawling backward since the beginning of December, and has been getting up on his hands and knees since the beginning of January. Here is is the beginning of February and still no crawling. He just can NOT figure this thing out, no matter how much we encourage him and help him out. While in Arizona we made some serious progress... or something like that.

Since traditional methods weren't working, Harrison has decided to create his own way of getting things done. He is now a little jumping bean - not moving an inch forward or backward, but looking pretty darn cute trying to crawl.

Harrison's favorite past time is yelling. We had to post this video for you to get a little taste of what we listen to all day long. I know it sounds like he's on the verge of a breakdown, but really he's not! He just likes to scream. A LOT. You can see him a few times start to laugh and smile in between the yelling.

This is not just when he's on his tummy. He yells at his toys, he screams at his dinner, he yells at his blankie, he screams at his binkie... He's not mad. Just... well, yelling. He likes to hear his own voice. He will yell until he gets your attention and then smile the cutest smile you've ever seen when you look at him. Oh yeah, then yell some more.
